Carleton's Electrical Physics

Carleton’s Engineering Physics program is a challenging and rewarding program designed to create the technology leaders needed by tomorrow’s industry and research labs.  The program provides a deep understanding of the physics and mathematical foundations of next-generation technology. In the program the students apply this knowledge to developing fields such as nano-technology, photonics, advanced materials and semi-conductor devices. The program is a very well respected elite program intended to train students for post-graduate study and to work in industrial research labs. Graduates from the program have gone on to complete advanced degrees in solar cell technology, high energy physics, nano-structured materials and semi-conductor device fabrication. Graduates are currently employed the world over; with careers varying from trying to find the Higgs Boson in CERN Switzerland to solar cell development in San Francisco.
